Provincial Health Directorate Visits Emergency Health and UMKE Units

Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Sinan Zehir and Specialist Dr. Anılcan Tahsin Karahan visited emergency health units and the UMKE Logistics Warehouse, conducting inspections and listening to the demands of the healthcare personnel.
Field Visit to Emergency Health Units
During the visits, the physical conditions of the stations, working areas, and the delivery processes of emergency health services were evaluated in detail. Prof. Dr. Sinan Zehir and Specialist Dr. Anılcan Tahsin Karahan came together with the working healthcare personnel and listened to their opinions, requests, and needs.
UMKE Logistics Warehouse and New Project Inspections
Within the scope of the visit, inspections were also carried out at the National Medical Rescue Team (UMKE) Logistics Warehouse and the area planned to be used as the 112 Emergency Health Services Station. With ground evaluation studies initiated in the area, the new facilities planned to be implemented aim to strengthen the medical and logistics capacity needed during disasters and extraordinary situations.
Increasing Disaster and Response Capacity
The project aims to make a significant contribution to the improvement of the preparation and response capabilities of UMKE teams. During the field inspections, the current situation was addressed in order to ensure that emergency health services are maintained uninterruptedly, rapidly, and effectively.
Infrastructure Works Will Continue with Determination
The Çorum Provincial Health Directorate stated that efforts to strengthen the physical and technical infrastructure of healthcare facilities and increase the response capacity for disasters and extraordinary situations will continue with determination.
