Public Health Week to be celebrated with various events in Bursa
The Bursa Provincial Health Directorate has prepared a week-long awareness program to draw attention to preventive health services within the scope of Public Health Week.
Bursa Provincial Health Director Spec. Dr. Mustafa Çetin announced that informative activities regarding mother and child health, early diagnosis, and vaccination will be carried out across the province for seven days on the occasion of Public Health Week.
Theme and Objectives of the Week
Within the framework of the theme "Public Health Every Day" determined by the Ministry of Health this year, the importance of preventive health services will be emphasized. Various information-sharing activities targeting different segments of society will be carried out throughout the program.

Vital subjects such as mother and child health, early diagnosis methods for cancer, increasing the level of health literacy, and the importance of vaccination activities will be addressed within the scope of the events.
Vision of Investment in Health
Drawing attention to the importance of investments aimed at protecting health before diseases emerge, officials stated that individuals in risk groups will be directed to healthy life centers.
Walking and Event Calendar
The opening of the celebrations will take place with a healthy lifestyle walk on Cumhuriyet Street on Thursday, September 3, at 14:30. The program will continue with a healthy nutrition event at the Nation's Garden on Friday, September 4.
