Resources Mobilized for Treatment of Injured in Gia Lai Bus Accident

4 people lost their lives and over 20 people were injured in a bus accident that occurred in the Gia Lai region. The Ministry of Health instructed hospitals to mobilize maximum resources for the treatment of the injured.
Region and Details of the Accident
A major accident occurred as a result of the overturning of a passenger bus traveling on the route from Ho Chi Minh City to Gia Lai. In the incident, which took place at the Ham Rong intersection, a sleeper bus belonging to the Viet Tan Phat bus company overturned.
Emergency Response Instruction from the Ministry of Health
Following the serious traffic accident, the Ministry of Health sent instructions to hospitals to mobilize maximum resources to urgently treat the injured and minimize loss of life.
Vuong Anh Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Administration, signed and coordinated the urgent directive calling for a focus on the treatment of the victims after the accident.
Hospitals Where the Injured Are Receiving Treatment
More than 20 people injured in the accident were transferred to health facilities in the region and neighboring provinces after initial interventions at the scene.
The treatment of the injured is ongoing within the structures of Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital, and Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital.
Mobilization of Medical Personnel and Equipment
The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Administration deployed the maximum number of medical personnel with the aim of immediately treating critical cases and minimizing potential fatalities.
Instructions were transmitted to competent authorities for the complete mobilization of necessary medicines and medical equipment in hospitals.
