Structural Reduction Plan in the Health System
According to the newly approved plan in Nghe An province, the public health system will be restructured by September 30, 2026.
During this process, the total number of units is expected to be reduced from 49 to 45, along with a decrease in the number of health stations.
Unit Mergers and Transformations
Nghe An Dermatology Hospital will be merged into the Nghe An Friendship General Hospital.
11 medical centers with inpatient departments will be renamed as general hospitals, and certain centers will be transformed.
Health Stations and Personnel Situation
The network of 457 commune-level health stations will be streamlined down to the level of 130 stations and sub-stations.
The Ministry of Health has requested the issuance of new policies for the withdrawal and training of personnel.
