Review of Healthcare Facility Reorganization Process in Quan Son
An authorized delegation in Thanh Hoa inspected the difficulties in asset transfer and utilization at healthcare centers in Quan Son district on-site.
A delegation led by Dau Thanh Tung, Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, conducted a field visit to inspect public asset transfers, reorganization, and construction project bottlenecks at the Quan Son Medical Center and the Quan Son General Hospital.
On-Site Inspections and Objective
The delegation, headed by Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Vice Chairman Dau Thanh Tung, conducted inspections to identify obstacles in the transfer, acceptance, and utilization of healthcare facilities. The primary objective of the visit is to ensure the public's uninterrupted access to medical examination and treatment services.
Status of the Medical Center
During the meeting, the coordination between the Quan Son Medical Center and local authorities regarding asset transfer was discussed. While addressing the process of putting the new headquarters in Pang village into operation, it was noted that although the unit requires 22 rooms, the new facility only has 20 rooms.
General Hospital and Old Facilities
Regarding the Quan Son General Hospital, the inspection team reviewed the transfer of the old medical center building in accordance with the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The arrangement and utilization of this old facility during the hospital renovation and repair process were investigated.
Investment and Completion Targets
Authorities requested that the health sector coordinate with relevant departments and local administrations to expedite the processes. Furthermore, it was demanded that difficulties in the Quan Son General Hospital renovation project be resolved so that the facility can be completed and opened for service in June 2027.
