Sanliurfa City Hospital Opened and Health Investments Announced
At the opening of Turkey's 28th city hospital, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu emphasized that millions of citizens have undergone health screenings over the past two years.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of Sanliurfa City Hospital, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu announced that chronic disease checks were performed on 44 million people over the last 2 years, and approximately 13 million diseases were detected at an early stage and treated.

At the ceremony held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, it was stated that a major health investment was brought to the city.
Sanliurfa City Hospital officially started providing services as Turkey's 28th city hospital.
Developments in Healthcare Infrastructure
It was stated that the healthcare infrastructure across Turkey has been completely renewed and strengthened over the past 25 years.
It was noted that the total bed capacity across the country has been increased to over 271 thousand.
Investments Made in Sanliurfa
It was announced that 22 new hospitals and 110 new health centers have been brought to Sanliurfa since 2002.
It was reported that the hospitals in Siverek, Viransehir, and Harran will start serving by the end of the year.
Early Diagnosis and Preventive Healthcare
Emphasizing the importance of preventive health services, it was reported that chronic disease checks for 44 million citizens were carried out in the last 2 years.
It was announced that the ailments of approximately 13 million citizens were detected at an early stage and successfully treated.

Attention was drawn to the great importance of domestic and national production in the field of health.
