Sanliurfa City Hospital Opened for Service
Şanlıurfa City Hospital, Turkey's 28th city hospital, has started operations with its large indoor area, seismic isolators, and specialized health units.
Şanlıurfa City Hospital, one of the critical health investments in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, has been put into service with an official ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu.
Commissioning and General Features
Şanlıurfa City Hospital opened its doors with a ceremony held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu.
Infrastructure and Earthquake Safety
Built on an indoor area of approximately 500,000 square meters, the modern facility was reinforced using 1,101 seismic isolators against potential disasters.
Specialized Health Services
Services are provided in critical areas such as heart and organ transplantation, stroke, burn care, nuclear medicine, radiation oncology, and chemotherapy within the newly established giant health complex.
Transportation and Environmental Arrangements
Along with the opening process, connection roads and bridges around the hospital were built, and Fahrettin Paşa Boulevard was expanded to improve the transportation infrastructure.
