Seyrantepe Family Health Center opened for service in Şanlıurfa
Specialist physicians have started working at the new center opened in Şanlıurfa to strengthen primary health care services.
The Seyrantepe Family Health Center, implemented by the Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Directorate to ensure that citizens can access health services faster and more easily, has opened its doors.
New Center Begins Operations
Within the scope of the efforts carried out to expand and strengthen primary health care services throughout Şanlıurfa, the Seyrantepe Family Health Center has started providing services. Thanks to the newly opened center, citizens' access to qualified health services is facilitated, while it is also aimed to provide protective and preventive health services more effectively.
Healthcare Staff Roster
In the modern center that has started providing services, a total of three physicians, including two specialist physicians, are on duty. The healthcare team also includes three family health workers and one staff member, regularly providing primary health care services to the local population.
Preventive Health Services
Specialist Dr. Seher Karakış Kazcı, working at the center, emphasized that family health centers are not just places where treatments are administered. Stating that protective and preventive health services are of great importance for public health, Kazcı expressed that infant, child, pregnant, and postpartum follow-ups, as well as chronic disease monitoring and cancer screenings, are conducted at the center.
Healthcare Investments Will Continue
Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erhan Berk stated that primary health investments across the city continue with determination. Stating that their primary goal is for citizens to access health services easily and with high quality, Berk noted that the Seyrantepe Family Health Center will provide free services to the local people.
