Target of Electronic Health Records for the Entire Population by 2030
Within the framework of the National Target Program, it is aimed that all citizens will have electronic health records and have their health managed throughout their life cycles by 2030.
Important health targets have been established within the scope of the newly prepared National Target Program for the Development of Culture, Society, Rural Areas, Ethnic Minorities, and Mountainous Regions for the 2026-2035 period. Accordingly, by 2030, it is targeted that one hundred percent of the population will have electronic health records and their health status will be managed throughout their life cycles.
Approval Process and Scope of the Program
The new national target program prepared for the 2026-2035 period was officially approved at the First Extraordinary Session of the 16th National Assembly.
According to the resolution approving the investment policy, the program aims to manage the health of all citizens and improve their quality of life by 2035.
Targets for Access to Primary Health Services
The state aims to ensure that all citizens have access to primary health services and preventive care from an early stage.
The program also emphasizes increasing the birth rate, balancing the sex ratio, adapting to the aging population, and strengthening care for vulnerable groups.
Communal Health Criteria and Rates
By 2030, it is targeted to increase the rate of communes, wards, and special zones meeting the National Communal Health Criteria to ninety percent.
In this direction, various efforts will be carried out to strengthen health infrastructure and increase regional facilities.
Capacity of Disease Control and Prevention Centers
One hundred percent of Disease Control and Prevention Centers at the provincial and municipal levels are expected to reach adequate capacity.
These centers will be equipped to perform tests on dangerous infectious diseases, clean water, and school hygiene.
Role of Health Stations and Child Health
All district, ward, and special zone health stations will implement practices for the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases.
Additionally, it is planned to reduce the rate of stunting in children under five to below fifteen percent.
Preventive Health and Social Care Measures
It is planned to increase the rates of couples undergoing pre-marital counseling and health checks.
While ensuring that pregnant women and newborns are screened for congenital diseases, the number of beneficiaries utilizing services in social care facilities will be increased.
