Purpose and Scope of the Invention
This new invention, belonging to the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Health, aims to enable individuals with neurological disorders to perform rehabilitation exercises safely at home and allows remote monitoring of their treatment processes.
Names Involved in the Project
While Health Minister Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu and HSU faculty member Prof. Dr. Başak Bilir Kaya took part as inventors in the study group that received the patent, the ownership of the project is undertaken by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Health.
Targeted Patient Groups
The developed system eliminates the necessity of going to the hospital for patients with conditions such as Parkinson's, stroke, loss of mobility due to spinal cord injury, and cerebral palsy.
