Trabzon KTU Farabi Hospital hosted thousands of patients from 25 countries

While Trabzon continues to rank among the prominent centers preferred by international patients in health tourism, KTU Farabi Hospital recently provided healthcare services to 2,970 patients from 25 countries.

Trabzon, one of the significant health centers of the Black Sea, continues to serve patients coming from abroad. In this context, KTU Farabi Hospital recently hosted a total of 2,970 international patients.

Visitors from Different Countries

It was stated that the patients served came from 25 different countries. These countries include locations from diverse geographies such as Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Egypt, and Burkina Faso.

While there is an increase in the number of patients coming from Gulf countries particularly during the summer months, patients are also regularly admitted from Georgia and Central Asian countries throughout the year.

Treatments Provided by Specialty

It was stated that the hospital operates as a center where advanced health issues are treated. International patients are cared for in many specialties, primarily cancer, cardiac problems, pediatric surgery, and urological diseases.

Emphasis on Organic Growth

KTU Farabi Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Celal Tekinbaş noted that they attach importance to the growth in health tourism proceeding in a controlled and natural manner. Tekinbaş emphasized that they do not view international patients merely as economic income, and that the primary goal is to provide remedies for people's ailments.
