Turkish Pharmacists' Association Visits SSI General Directorate of General Health Insurance
Following drug prices transferred to the Medula system, changes in Public Institution Discount (KKİ) brackets and potential solutions were discussed.
A delegation from the Turkish Pharmacists' Association visited the General Directorate of General Health Insurance of the Social Security Institution to discuss the changes in KKİ brackets arising from the transfer of drug prices to the Medula system and the solution process.
Delegation Meeting Held
A delegation consisting of the Turkish Pharmacists' Association management held an official meeting with the Social Security Institution General Directorate of General Health Insurance on September 9, 2026.
KKI Bracket Changes Addressed
Following the prices published by the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency and entering into force on September 8, 2026, it was determined that changes occurred in the KKİ brackets of numerous drugs.
Solution Will Be Provided via the System
As a result of the contacts made, it was shared that this incompatibility issue in Public Institution Discounts will be resolved through an arrangement to be made on the system.
Thanks and Informational Statement
While thanking GSS General Manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eren Usul for his approach towards resolving the issue promptly, it was announced that pharmacists will be informed once the process is completed.
