Preventive Healthcare and Epidemic Surveillance
Preventive healthcare has been comprehensively implemented to strengthen epidemic surveillance, early detection, and timely intervention, ensuring that major outbreaks are prevented in the province. Expanded immunization programs are maintained, while programs targeting the control of non-communicable diseases, viral hepatitis, and HIV/AIDS are being implemented.
Food Safety Inspections
During the Action Month for Food Safety, inspection and monitoring activities were intensified in collective kitchens, schools, and food service establishments. Thanks to proactive prevention efforts, no food poisoning cases have been recorded in the province.
Health Insurance and Examination Data
In the first eight months of the year, over 2.86 million examinations were conducted at public healthcare facilities, reaching 83 percent of the annual plan. Meanwhile, the health insurance coverage rate reached 93.77 percent of the population.
Free Periodic Health Check-ups
By the end of August, over 2.6 million people province-wide had undergone free periodic health check-ups or screenings, reaching a rate of 65.85 percent. This effort shifts the focus of healthcare services toward detecting disease risk factors.
Pharmaceutical Supply and Digital Transformation
The health sector has implemented a centralized supply and bidding system for pharmaceuticals, and all district and commune health stations have completed GSP declarations. The sector has integrated 1.45 million electronic health records, reaching 36.6 percent of the population.
