Mehmet Fatih Tançalan, known on social media as 'Vanlı Kara Haydar', was arrested by the duty magistrate judge as part of the investigation conducted against him.

Detention and Investigation Process

As a result of the investigation initiated by the Van Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Mehmet Fatih Tançalan, who had 25 criminal records, was apprehended and detained during a morning raid at his home in Van's Muradiye district on September 8.

Financial Review and Reason for Referral

Referred to the courthouse after procedures at the police station, it was determined that the suspect's financial profile was incompatible with his standard of living on social media. An inspection was requested from MASAK, and unexplained income transfers originating from Dubai were detected.

Defense and Allegations in Court

During his testimony before the judge, the suspect claimed that wedding expenses were covered by sponsors and that the jewelry was rented and later returned, but no official documents were found to support his statements.
