14 Suspects Apprehended in Bursa for Criminal Organization Propaganda on Social Media
Security forces conducted operations at the addresses of individuals who praised criminal organizations on social media and called for recruitment.
In Bursa, 14 suspects who made social media posts praising criminal organizations and seeking recruits for armed actions were detained in a simultaneous operation organized by police teams.
Details of the Operation
Within the scope of the investigation coordinated by the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Provincial Directorate of Security's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch initiated an operation.
Social Media Posts
It was determined that the suspects made posts encouraging and praising criminal organizations and organizational activities, and made calls to those wishing to take part in these structures.
Simultaneous Raids
A total of 14 suspects were apprehended and detained in simultaneous operations carried out at designated addresses.
Judicial Process and Release
Out of the 14 suspects caught in the operation, 4 were released following their statements, while 10 suspects whose procedures at the police station were completed were released under judicial control conditions.
