Father of injured girl denies social media claims

Some social media accounts in Kayseri featured posts claiming that a family was staying in a gazebo in the garden of Erciyes University Hospitals.

Making a statement following the news, father Eşref Erbekler stated that the posts in question were not true and did not reflect reality.

Accommodation Support Provided

Stating that his daughter is receiving treatment in intensive care, Eşref Erbekler expressed that necessary support regarding accommodation had been provided to them following the accident.

Emphasizing that they stayed in a guesthouse, were hosted in a hotel, and that there were even those who invited them to their homes, Erbekler noted that they have no unmet needs.

Close Attention from Authorities

Conveying that the Governorship and university authorities have taken a close interest in them, the father stated that the authorities constantly ask whether they have any needs.

Indicating that the social media posts show them differently than they are, Erbekler said it would be more appropriate to ask about their well-being before sharing such content.

Expressing his satisfaction with the intense interest shown to them by the people of Kayseri, Erbekler thanked the city and everyone who offered help.

Stating that the people in Kayseri prayed for his daughter as much as he did, Erbekler wished that God would be pleased with everyone.
