L.C.C., who offered banned exotic Sugar Glider animals for sale via social media in Lapta, and A.Y., determined to be connected to the individual, were arrested.
Investigation Initiated Upon Social Media Post
As a result of inspections and determinations carried out in the Lapta region, it was determined that exotic animals, whose possession is prohibited, were offered for sale via social media platforms.
Within the scope of the work carried out by security forces, the identity and address of the person making the relevant posts were identified in a short time.
Exotic Animals Seized in House Search
During the search activities carried out by police teams at the residence of the individual named L.C.C., a total of 6 Sugar Gliders of an exotic species native to Australia were found.
Necessary legal procedures were immediately initiated to secure the found animals, and action was taken in coordination with authorized units.
Animals Taken Under Protection and Detention Procedures
The Sugar Gliders, which have unique living conditions and were illegally possessed, were handed over to Taskent Nature Park authorities to ensure appropriate housing conditions.
The suspects named L.C.C. and A.Y., who were determined to be directly connected to the incident, were detained and arrested by the police.
