Within the scope of the efforts carried out by the Çorum Provincial Gendarmerie Command Anti-Terrorism Branch Directorate, it was determined that certain suspects under the age of 18 were organized under various ideologies on social media platforms.

Action Scenarios and Training Content in the Virtual Environment

It was determined that the suspects interacted with extremist content, normalized radical thoughts, and shared action scenarios in virtual environments.

Simultaneous Raids Carried Out in Three Provinces

Under the coordination of the Çorum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were organized targeting a total of 11 suspects identified in Çorum, Istanbul, and Sakarya.

Detained Suspects and Materials Seized

It was reported that 9 suspects were captured and detained during the operation, and digital computers and mobile phones seized at the addresses were also confiscated.

Referral Procedures to Judicial Authorities

It was stated that the detained suspects were referred to the courthouse after the completion of their legal procedures at the gendarmerie.
