Operations conducted in 10 provinces against inappropriate posts on social media platforms
Within the scope of an investigation coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an operation was carried out against suspects identified as generating income by making inappropriate broadcasts on social media platforms.
Under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were conducted in ten provinces targeting individuals determined to have generated digital income by making broadcasts containing fights, threats, insults, and obscene content on social media platforms.
Scope of the Investigation and Provinces
Within the scope of the investigation conducted under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, shares made through social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and X were taken under review.
Simultaneous Raids Carried Out
Simultaneous raids were carried out with Istanbul as the base in the provinces of Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Kocaeli, Muğla, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Malatya, and Elazığ.
Detained Persons
As a result of the operation, ten suspects were detained, among whom are Sinan Kaya, Cansum Kaya, Ferhat Billor, Çağlayan Yıldırım, Onur Sermik, Elif Akdemir, Onur Can Güzel, Mehmet Emin Citer, Mehmet Aden Arslan, and Semih Varol.
Applied Test Procedures
Within the framework of the operation, necessary tests were administered to the detained suspects to detect the use of narcotic or stimulant substances.
