Preparations for the 13th Judicial Package, which the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) will address in the new legislative term, are being carried out by the Ministry of Justice and the AK Party group. Preparation Process of the 13th Judicial Package
Within the scope of the studies carried out jointly by the Ministry of Justice and the AK Party group, the framework of the new legal regulations has begun to become clear.
It is planned to bring the prepared bill to the parliament's agenda and enact it within the month of October.
Social Media Identity Verification Requirement
With the social media regulation, which is one of the most important headings in the package, it is aimed to use accounts with real identities.
Thanks to this system, which is envisaged to be integrated via e-Government, it is targeted to combat crimes such as illegal betting, drugs, and prostitution more effectively.
Alimony and Divorce Regulations
In parallel with the Constitutional Court's decision regarding indefinite alimony, a new grading system is being emphasized.
Within the framework of the regulation, it is planned to introduce a lower limit for alimony and determine payment periods based on the duration of the marriage.
Acceleration of Trials
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek emphasized that judicial processes will be accelerated during meetings he held with judges and prosecutors.
