A dispute between two groups on social media in Istanbul's Bağcılar district quickly escalated and turned into a street fight with knives when the parties came together. During the brawl, two people were stabbed and injured.

Health Conditions of the Injured

Upon reports from citizens in the surrounding area, police and medical teams were swiftly dispatched to the scene. After initial interventions by medical teams, it was learned that one of the injured hospitalized was in critical condition, while the other had no life-threatening injuries.

Efforts by Law Enforcement Teams

As a result of meticulous work conducted by the Bağcılar District Police teams regarding the incident, it was determined that the incident had no connection to gang activity or illicit substance trafficking, and the hostility stemmed entirely from a social media argument.

Detentions and Judicial Process

Following an operation by police teams, a total of four suspects, including three minors, were apprehended and detained. One of the suspects referred to the courthouse after procedures at the police station was arrested, while the other three suspects were released under judicial control conditions.
