National Football Team Gathers in Riva for UEFA Nations League Matches
The 29-player preliminary squad, managed by head coach Vincenzo Montella, is entering camp ahead of challenging group matches.
Competing against France, Italy, and Belgium in Group 1 of the UEFA Nations League A, the National Football Team is coming together in Riva as part of match preparations and will hold its first training session.
Camp Process in Riva
Players invited to the crescent-and-star team are gathering at the Turkish Football Federation's Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Riva.
Following today's gathering, the national team will hold its first training session at 18:00, and the first 15 minutes of this session will be open to members of the press.
Vincenzo Montella's Preliminary Squad
There are notable names in the 29-player preliminary squad announced by National Team Head Coach Vincenzo Montella.
İlhan Fakılı from Beşiktaş, Bartuğ Elmaz from Fenerbahçe, Adil Demirbağ from Konyaspor, and Melih Kabasakal from Trabzonspor are among the players called up to the national team for the first time.
Nations League Match Schedule
In its first match in UEFA Nations League A Group 1, the National Team will face France in Kocaeli on Friday, September 25.
In the group's other matches, Turkey will host Italy on Monday, September 28, and will play against Belgium away on October 2.
