Social media influencer Fatma Soydaş released from prison

Influencer Fatma Soydaş, who was arrested within the scope of an investigation launched due to her social media posts, has been released following a two-month period spent in prison.

Investigation and Arrest Process

An investigation had been launched against Fatma Soydaş by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on the grounds of her social media posts.

Detained within the scope of the investigation, Soydaş was referred to the courthouse after the completion of her procedures at the police station.

Brought before the court following her procedures at the prosecutor's office, the suspect was arrested and sent to prison.

Charges and Release Decision

In the judicial process conducted against Fatma Soydaş, the primary charge was recorded as degrading religious values.

Additionally, the accusation of mediating the publication of obscene broadcasts had also come to the agenda during the investigation process.

Soydaş, who remained in prison for about two months, was released at the end of this period.

Access Ban on Social Media Accounts

Within the scope of the ongoing investigation, Fatma Soydaş's social media accounts were also targeted.

In line with the decision rendered, an access ban from Turkey was imposed on Soydaş's social media accounts.
