Amateur Sports Week to be Celebrated Between October 5-11

Organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Turkish Confederation of Amateur Sports Clubs, Amateur Sports Week will be celebrated with various events and competitions across all 81 provinces between October 5-11, 2026.

In 2026, Amateur Sports Week will be celebrated across Turkey in all 81 provinces with various events and competitions between October 5-11.

Organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Turkish Confederation of Amateur Sports Clubs, the week aims to spread sports to the grassroots.

Cortege Walk in Sakarya

The Sakarya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports announced that a walking cortege will be held on Monday, October 5 at 17:00 due to Amateur Sports Week.

Starting from the area where the Olympic Swimming Pool is located in Sakarya Kent Park, the walk will continue accompanied by a marching band until Democracy Square.

Activities Planned Throughout the Week

Opening cortege walks and ceremonies are planned throughout the week under the coordination of each province's Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and ASKF.

Activities such as amateur competitions in various branches, demonstrations, folk dances, and sports promotion events will meet with participants.
