Bodrum Half Marathon Starts with 2,500 Athletes from 23 Countries
Athletes will compete on different tracks in the international marathon, which will be held for the ninth time.
As Bodrum, one of Turkey's major tourism centers, prepares to host the Bodrum Half Marathon for the ninth time between October 2 and 4, 2,500 athletes from 23 different countries will participate in the organization.
Marathon Details and Participation
With the completion of the registration process, the organization demonstrated that it has achieved a high level of international participation.
In the event realized by Mint Organizasyon, athletes will sweat it out on different tracks, namely 21K, 10K, and 5K.
International Broad Participant Profile
In addition to Turkey, names from many different geographies such as Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Norway, and Kazakhstan are taking part.
Athletes from a total of 23 countries, such as Iran, Sweden, Sudan, Switzerland, South Africa, and Canada, will come together in this major organization.
Historical and Touristic Route
The races, which will start with the start given from Bodrum Municipality Square, will offer unique views to the participants.
Runners will pass through iconic points of the district such as the Myndos Gate, the Antique Theatre, Bodrum Castle, Kumbahçe, and the marina line.
Race Schedule and Meaningful Medals
In the event where the main races will be held on Sunday, October 4, the children's run will take place on Saturday, October 3.
The specially designed medals to be given to athletes who complete the races were prepared by the handmade labor of children with special needs within the Bodrum Health Foundation.
