Yılmaz expressed that a Turkey where a young person can develop their talent and where women and individuals with disabilities take a stronger place in sports life increases the social and societal strength of the country.

Emphasizing that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan being a leader coming from a sports background is a great advantage for sports investments, Yılmaz announced that the number of youth and sports facilities across Turkey has reached 5,555.
Medals Won in 2026
Stating that national athletes have won a total of 4,440 medals so far in 2026, Yılmaz listed the successes achieved in the Mediterranean Games, European championships, and other branches.
