Construction Work on Major Sports Investments Continues in Darıca
The current status of the new sports facilities and sports village project rising in Kocaeli's Darıca district has been inspected on-site.
While construction work on the Atatürk Street Sports Complex and the 50-acre Darıca Sports Village projects implemented in Kocaeli's Darıca district continues rapidly, the construction areas in the region were inspected by officials.
Inspection of Construction Areas
Darıca Mayor Muzaffer Bıyık and the accompanying delegation visited the construction sites of the projects ongoing in the district and received information from authorities.
Supporting Institutions
These major facilities, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Spor Toto Organization, are aimed to make significant contributions to the region.
Atatürk Street Sports Complex
It was stated that the new complex will include a multi-purpose sports hall, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, as well as 2 football fields and an athletics track.
Darıca Sports Village Project
Darıca Sports Village, planned on an area of approximately 50 acres, will feature a regulation-size football field, an athletics track, a grandstand, locker rooms and offices.
Camp and Training Center
It was noted that an athlete camp and training center, as well as a tennis court, will also be included within the scope of the project, emphasizing that the youth will gain access to modern facilities.
