Two children whose conditions worsened while continuing treatment at a hospital in Kırıkkale—a 6-year-old traffic accident victim and a 15-year-old respiratory failure patient—were urgently transferred to hospitals in Ankara by air ambulance.
Condition Worsens at the Hospital
A sudden deterioration occurred in the health conditions of two pediatric patients receiving treatment at Kırıkkale High Specialty Hospital.
As a result of evaluations made by doctors, it was decided that the children should be treated in hospitals with more comprehensive healthcare infrastructure.
Accident and Respiratory Failure Cases
It was stated that the 6-year-old patient was injured in a previous traffic accident and taken to the hospital.
The other patient, a 15-year-old child, was noted to be kept under medical supervision with complaints of respiratory failure.
Emergency Transfer by Air Ambulance
Upon the worsening condition of both children, the Ministry of Health's air ambulance was put into service.
