The amounts of the championship payments to be made to the national volleyball players and the head coach have been officially announced.
The details and figures of the giant championship bonuses to be given to the Sultans of the Net, who reached the European championship, and Head Coach Santarelli have become clear.
Payments to Players
Within the scope of the regulations, it was decided to pay each of the red-and-white volleyball players 60 Republic Gold coins, which corresponds to 40 percent of 150 gold coins. This reward amount corresponds to approximately 7 million Turkish Liras per player.
Head Coach Santarelli's Award
Head Coach Santarelli, who led the team to the European championship, was envisioned to be paid in exchange for 30 Republic Gold coins. The amount of this reward, based on the current value of the Republic Gold coin, was calculated as 1 million 343 thousand liras.
Award to be Given by CEV
It was reported that a total payment of 500 thousand Euros will be transferred to the Turkish Volleyball Federation by the European Volleyball Confederation due to the championship success.
Olympic Quota and Achievements
Having reached the top in both the Volleyball Nations League and Europe in 2026 following the year 2023, the Crescent-Stars earned the right to directly participate in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
