National athlete and Turkish Champion Emine Nur Alkayış came together with the Provincial Director of Youth and Sports following her major success.
Adıyaman-born earthquake survivor and national rower Emine Nur Alkayış, who became the champion at the 2026 Meriç/Edirne Senior Turkish Championship, paid an official visit to Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Hüseyin Elüstü at his office.

The successful athlete was accompanied during the visit by her father Bahri Alkayış and her coaches Uğur Sever and Emre Dursun.

Alkayış, who remained under the rubble during the earthquake disaster and lost her mother, held onto life through the sport of rowing after this difficult process.

The athlete, who became the Turkish champion in the Para Rowing PR3 2X-MIX category, aims to represent her country in the European and World Championships.
