The International Samsun Open WTA 125 Tennis Tournament is taking place between October 4 and 11 at the Green Golf and Tennis Club, with approximately 70 athletes from 31 countries participating in the organization.
In addition to local protocols, Canadian player Bianca Andreescu and national player Ayla Aksu Kahraman also attended the launch meeting.
Evaluations by the Federation President
Turkish Tennis Federation President Şafak Müderrisgil stated that by hosting 13 tournaments this year, they have reached the highest number of top-segment tournaments in their history.
Müderrisgil expressed that as a result of negotiations with the WTA and ATP, they have provided significant support to clubs, contributing a total of 1 million 35 thousand dollars.

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Halit Doğan emphasized the city's strength in international sports organizations, noting that they received a score of 4.85 out of 5 in the men's championship held previously.
