Fenerbahçe fan and veteran Gerçek Yaşar, who lost his life as a result of a heart attack during the Beşiktaş match, was bidden farewell on his final journey following a military ceremony and funeral prayer held in Mersin's Mut district.

A funeral ceremony was held in Mersin's Mut district for Fenerbahçe fan and veteran Gerçek Yaşar, who passed away due to a heart attack he suffered during the Beşiktaş match.
Board of Directors Visit
Fenerbahçe Board Members Mehmet Aydın, Volkan Akan, Barış Karagöz, Futbol A.Ş. Board Member İsmail Balcı, and Mersin Fenerbahçeliler Association President Bülent Kütük paid a condolence visit to the home of the deceased prior to the ceremony.

Following the condolence visit, the executives proceeded to Laal Paşa Mosque to attend the funeral ceremony and supported the family and loved ones.

Born on September 18, 1978, Gerçek Yaşar became a veteran while serving in Bingöl in 2003 and had been working at the Forestry Directorate since 2004.
