Seeking to reinforce their defensive line, the club turned their attention to France and made official moves for Ghanaian defender Kojo Peprah Oppong, who plays for Nice.
Economic Details and Process of the Transfer
According to a report by L'Equipe from the French press, Fenerbahçe submitted an official offer exceeding 10 million euros to Nice for the young defender. It was reported that Nice's management, in search of financial resources, has taken this attractive offer into consideration.
The Ghanaian footballer was not included in Nice's 20-man squad for the match against Lorient last Saturday, which ended in a goalless draw. Following the completion of transfer negotiations, the player is expected to arrive in Istanbul.
