Comprehensive Camp in Serbia

Şeker 06 Spor held a high-altitude camp immersed in nature with 30 young athletes in the town of Brzeće, Serbia. Operating under the colors of red, green, and white, the club completed a total of 15 training sessions and 9 friendly matches during this period.

Club History

Founded in 1947 by Turkey Sugar Factories and ranking among Ankara's long-established sports clubs, Şeker Spor returned to the football pitches in 2019 under the name Şeker 06 Spor.

Visits from Prominent Figures

As a guest of the camp, Cevad Prekazi, one of the notable figures of Turkish football, visited Şeker 06 Spor athletes, followed the training sessions, and met with the young footballers.

Embassy Reception

As part of the Serbia camp, the delegation was hosted at the ambassadorial residence by Turkey's Ambassador to Belgrade, İlhan Saygılı.

Novi Pazar and Red Star Matches

The delegation, which played a friendly match in Novi Pazar as one of the camp's stops, was met with intense interest from the local population. Şeker 06 Spor concluded the camp with a friendly match against Red Star's youth setup.

Challenges Faced at the Facility

Stating that it continues its work without a regular training pitch and facility of its own, the club management called on the relevant institutions and authorities in Ankara for facility support.
