Former MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu and five people arrested
In the Central Referee Board investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, six people, including former president Ferhat Gündoğdu, were sent to prison with a request for arrest.

Names Arrested Within the Scope of the Investigation
A total of 5 names, including former Central Referee Board President Ferhat Gündoğdu, who were detained within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Bureau of Investigation for Illegal Betting and Sports Crimes, were arrested.
Other Officials Arrested
Among the other names arrested within the scope of the investigation were Ferdi Karadoruk, Yunus Yıldırım, Alican Sağlar, and Emre Kosif, while judicial control decisions were applied regarding Ahmet Şahin and Sebahattin Şahin.
Allegations in the Court Referral Document
In the referral document to the court, it was claimed that merit principles were ignored in referee assignments, personal data was unlawfully recorded and profiling was carried out, and some referees were prevented from performing public duties.
Ferhat Gündoğdu's Defense
Former MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu was arrested on charges of unlawfully recording personal data, while stating that he was unaware of the record in question and denying the accusations against him.
Suspects' Statements and Association Lawsuit
While the suspects argued in their statements that the ultimate authority for decisions was the Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation, a lawsuit was filed for the dissolution of the Istanbul Branch of the TFF Active Football Referees and Observers Association within the scope of the investigation.
