President Özbek's Speech and Commemoration
Galatasaray Sports Club President Dursun Aydın Özbek took the podium and wished a successful new education and academic year. President Özbek respectfully commemorated Metin Oktay, an unforgettable name in Turkish football, on the 35th anniversary of his passing.
Latest Status on the Leo Residence Project
Comprehensive information regarding the club's ongoing projects was shared at the meeting. It was conveyed to the council members that the Leo Residence project is nearing completion and handovers have partially begun.
Aslantepe Valley Sports Complex
The sports complex project, initiated on approximately 62 acres in Aslantepe Valley to serve all Olympic sports, was detailed. It was stated that construction, piling, and excavation work for the project are ongoing.
Florya Project and Resource Studies
Touching upon the Florya project, President Özbek stated that 22 acres belonging to the club and the remaining 42-43 acres of public land have also been purchased. It was emphasized that a total of 65 acres of land has been brought into Galatasaray's possession.
Fund Account for Amateur Sports
It was announced that the revenues to be generated from the Florya project will be collected in a fund account within the framework of the bylaws and general assembly authorities. It was stated that these revenues will be used to generate resources for amateur sports.
