Goal and Assist Contribution from Fenerbahçe's İrfan Can Kahveci Against Eyüpspor

Playing in the number 10 position against Eyüpspor, national football player İrfan Can Kahveci from Fenerbahçe did not waste head coach İsmail Kartal's trust by playing with one goal and two assists.

Shined Against Eyüpspor

Tasked in the number 10 position during the Eyüpspor match, İrfan Can Kahveci responded clearly to recent criticisms with his effective performance throughout the game.

Providing the passes for the goals scored by Guendouzi in the 38th minute and Vedat Muriqi in the 55th minute, the national player also found the back of the net himself in the 45+1st minute.

Double Statistics After a Long Time

Spending his 7th season at Fenerbahçe, İrfan Can Kahveci had previously played with one goal and one assist in a match against Çaykur Rizespor during the 2023-24 season under the yellow-navy blue jersey.

The experienced player produced multiple score contributions in an official match after exactly 1085 days, signing off on another important statistic in his career.

İsmail Kartal's Motivation Tactic

Speaking at the post-match press conference, head coach İsmail Kartal shared in detail how he prepared his player for the match.

Stating his trust in the player, Kartal expressed that he told him to shut his ears to the outside world and regain his morale by playing simply on the field.

Status in Past Seasons

Having failed to provide a score contribution in the first half of the previous season at Fenerbahçe, the footballer had worn the Kasımpaşa jersey on loan in the second half of the season.

Recording his last goal with the Fenerbahçe jersey against Konyaspor in the 2024-25 season, İrfan Can returned to his team following his loan spell at Kasımpaşa.
