Injury Shock for Galatasaray: Osimhen and Lemina Out for Three Weeks
Ahead of Galatasaray's match against Sporting, Victor Osimhen and Mario Lemina will be sidelined due to injuries.
As Galatasaray continues preparations for their UEFA Champions League fixture against Sporting, it has been announced that Victor Osimhen and Mario Lemina, who were injured in the Başakşehir match, will be sidelined for approximately 3 weeks.
Details of the Injuries Revealed
Following MR scans and advanced examinations performed on Victor Osimhen and Mario Lemina, who sustained injuries during the Trendyol Super League match against Başakşehir, it was announced that a moderate-to-advanced strain was detected in their right adductor groin muscle groups.
Plans of Head Coach Okan Buruk
Following these major injuries, head coach Okan Buruk was forced to alter his starting eleven planning ahead of the Sporting match.
The experienced manager is expected to give an opportunity in the attacking line to Barış Alper Yılmaz or Deniz Gül in the absence of Victor Osimhen.
New Arrangements in the Defense Line
Due to Mario Lemina being away from the team, Abdülkerim Bardakcı is expected to take over the jersey in the center of the defense.
On the other hand, it was noted that Singo, who was diagnosed with bleeding in his right thigh biceps femoris muscle group, will return to the pitch in October.
