UEFA announced that it will distribute money to clubs that sent players to the national teams competing in the UEFA Nations League during the 2024-2025 season. In the statement made by UEFA, it was stated that a total of 31.5 million Euros will be paid to 611 clubs affiliated with football federations under UEFA.

Payment Details and Scope

The statement noted that the payments constitute a part of the 104 million Euro resource allocated to clubs that send players to national teams in the 2024-2025 and 2026-2027 UEFA Nations League and the UEFA EURO 2028 Qualifiers.

Per-Match and Daily Payment Principles

Accordingly, clubs will be paid 3,845 Euros per match for each eligible player included in the national team squad during the Nations League and European Football Championship Qualifiers. In EURO 2028, however, payments will be calculated on a daily basis per player.

The Club Receiving the Highest Payment Was Announced

The statement conveyed that Germany's RB Leipzig, which sent 16 footballers to the tournament, was the club that earned the most money with 353 thousand Euros.
