Mong Cultural Identity Preservation Training Course Concluded in Dien Bien

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province held the closing ceremony for a grassroots cultural vocational training course in Bản Lồng village, Quài Tở commune, with the objective of preserving Mong cultural identity and developing community tourism.

Purpose of the Training Course

The local cultural activities training course organized in Quài Tở commune contributes to building a core team of cultural and artistic talents equipped with the skills to preserve and transmit Mong cultural identity, alongside the development of community tourism in Bản Lồng village.

Participant Information and Process

The training course took place from September 7 to 11, involving 47 participants who are prominent figures in arts and culture, artisans, and individuals directly engaged in local cultural and artistic activities. This group plays a foundational role in organizing, sustaining, and transmitting cultural movements within the community.

Provided Training and Practical Exercises

Over five days, trainees received guidance on developing cultural and artistic exchange programs to serve political objectives and tourism development, managing amateur performing arts groups, and preserving traditional values. Students also practiced folk games, songs, and dances under the guidance of artisans.

Training Results and Certificates

At the end of the training course, 100% of the participants successfully completed the program and received certificates. These results lay the groundwork for Quài Tở commune's efforts to promote Mong culture and make Bản Lồng a destination rich in cultural identity.
