The Turkish National Football Team has officially started its preparations under the management of head coach Vincenzo Montella in Riva for the upcoming UEFA Nations League A matches against France and Italy.
First Training Session at the Riva Facilities
The Turkish National Football Team carried out its preparations ahead of the challenging matches at the Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Riva.
Training Details and Schedule
The training session managed by head coach Vincenzo Montella kept the first 15-minute section open to members of the press and began with light running.
Continuing with dynamic warm-ups, station drills, and passing exercises performed by splitting into two groups, the closed-door portion of the session focused on tactical work.
Players Not Included in the Squad
Orkun Kökçü was absent from the training due to an injury in his toe and increasing pain.
Muhammed Şengezer, Yunus Akgün, and Deniz Gül, who have minor injuries, as well as Demir Ege Tıknaz, who had a travel schedule, were also unable to attend the session.
Close Follow-up from the Management
This critical preparation training of the national team was closely watched by TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, TFF 1st Deputy President Mecnun Otyakmaz, and members of the board of directors.
Upcoming Match Schedule
The crescent-and-star team will play critical matches against France in Kocaeli on Friday, September 25, and against Italy on Monday, September 28.
