New Penalty System Against Statements by the Turkish Football Federation
In order to reduce tension in Turkish football and increase deterrence, new sanctions are being prepared by the Turkish Football Federation.
The Turkish Football Federation is working on a new system that will extend fines and periods of deprivation of rights in order to reduce tension in Turkish football and increase the deterrence of statements.
Details of the New Penalty System
The Turkish Football Federation is preparing to implement a new system that will increase penalties to make statements more deterrent. Taking the English model as an example, the federation plans to increase fines according to the severity of the statements and extend the periods of deprivation of rights.
Severe Financial Sanctions and Deprivation of Rights
One of the most important points of the new system is that sanctions will not be limited to fines alone. In addition to exponentially increasing record financial penalties, very severe penalties of deprivation of rights will be applied uncompromisingly to club officials.
Double Penalties for Pre-Match Statements
TFF will apply exactly twice the standard penalty for statements to be made before the match. In this way, it is aimed to cut off interventions and discussions outside the pitch.
