Ödemiş Saraçoğlu Stadium's Surface and Infrastructure Renewed
Renewed by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the Ödemiş Saraçoğlu Stadium with its 8,000-square-meter synthetic grass surface has been put into service for athletes.
As part of efforts to improve sports facilities across the city, the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality completely renewed the 8,000-square-meter synthetic grass surface and infrastructure of Ödemiş Saraçoğlu Stadium and reopened it for use.
Infrastructure and Surface Works
In the project carried out under the coordination of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Department of Science Affairs, the worn-out synthetic grass surface of Ödemiş Saraçoğlu Stadium was completely removed.
Following the removal of the existing grass, comprehensive infrastructure work was carried out on the field, geotextile felt was laid, and compaction and leveling processes were completed.
Field Reopened for Use
After the completion of the surface preparations, new synthetic grass was laid, and subsequently, sand and granule application processes were successfully completed.
The modern field, measuring 73 meters by 110 meters, has been made ready for use by local sports clubs and young athletes in Ödemiş.
