The Professional Football Disciplinary Board announced its decisions. Galatasaray Head Coach Okan Buruk was given a 1-match ban.
The PFDK penalized Okan Buruk due to his unsportsmanlike conduct toward the match referee during the match played between Trabzonspor and Galatasaray on September 19. The board decided to ban Buruk from entering the dressing room and the substitute bench for 1 official match, along with a fine of 100,000 TL.
Stand Penalty Imposed on Galatasaray
The PFDK also fined Galatasaray 350,000 TL due to the ugly and bad chanting caused by their supporters in the same match.
It was decided that the electronic ticket cards of the spectators located in certain away stand blocks who engaged in ugly and bad chanting would be blocked and they would be prevented from entering the next match where their club is the away team.
Two-Match Suspension for Lesley Ugochukwu
Galatasaray player Lesley Ugochukwu also received a 2-official-match suspension due to his serious foul against an opposing team player in the Trabzonspor match.
