PFDK Disciplinary Referrals Announced Following Trendyol Super League Matches
The Turkish Football Federation Professional Football Disciplinary Board has announced the clubs, executives, coaches, and players referred following the weekend matches, including the Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş derby.
The Turkish Football Federation Professional Football Disciplinary Board has officially announced the disciplinary referrals made following the matches played in the Trendyol Super League. Many clubs, presidents, executives, managers, and players, most notably from the Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş derby, were referred to the board on various grounds.
Başakşehir and Galatasaray Match Referrals
İstanbul Başakşehir FK player Umut Dilan Bozok was referred to the PFDK with precautionary measures due to a rule-breaking action. The same club's technical director, Nuri Şahin, was sent to discipline for unsportsmanlike conduct.
While Galatasaray Club was referred for ugly and bad chanting, executive Metin Öztürk along with masseurs and officials were also reported to the disciplinary board for various reasons.
Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş Derby Disciplinary Report
Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş clubs were referred to the PFDK due to ugly chanting and pitch incidents. The violation of failing to keep stairwells clear was also added to the report for Beşiktaş.
Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım and player Kerem Aktürkoğlu were among the names referred to the disciplinary board without precautionary measures due to their statements.
Beşiktaş and Other Clubs' Status
Beşiktaş player Dusan Vlahovic was referred to the PFDK without precautionary measures pursuant to Article 41 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to his insult during the match.
Various players, coaches, and executives from other clubs such as Kasımpaşa, Kocaelispor, Göztepe, and Erzurumspor were also reported to the disciplinary board.
Referral Grounds for Presidents and Technical Men
Trabzonspor Club and its President Ertuğrul Doğan were referred to discipline due to the statements in posts made on their official social media account.
Gençlerbirliği technical director Metin Diyadin and club officials were also taken under review by the board due to statements made in post-match remarks.
