Plogging Event Held in Swallow Valley
In an event held in Kayseri with the participation of nature lovers and municipal teams, half a ton of waste was collected while walking and exercising.
During the plogging event held in Swallow Valley in cooperation with the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and Kayseri Social Club, participants both exercised and cleaned nature, collecting approximately 500 kilograms of garbage.
Environmental Cleanup in Swallow Valley
A special plogging event combining sports activities with environmental awareness was implemented in Swallow Valley in partnership with the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and Kayseri Social Club.
In this organization, which saw participation from community members and numerous nature lovers, environmental cleanup was carried out while walking and running along the valley.
Broad Participation from Protocol
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Mustafa Türkmen personally participated in and supported the environmental and sports event.
Municipal officials and participants meticulously collected waste along the walking route throughout the event to draw attention to the preservation of nature.
Half a Ton of Garbage Collected
It was reported that the total amount of waste collected across the valley during the event reached approximately 500 kilograms, and this garbage was removed from the area by municipal teams.
Enver Şamil Taşçı, Head of the Parks and Gardens Department, stated that protecting Kayseri's natural beauties is among their primary priorities.
Green Heritage for Future Generations
It was emphasized that such organizations aim to carry Kayseri to a greener future and reinforce the awareness of leaving a clean city to future generations.
