Within the scope of the European Week of Sport events, Samsun was selected as a pilot province, and students of Taflan Primary School were brought together with traditional street games and various sporting activities.

European Week of Sport Samsun Events

Celebrated on certain days of September every year, the European Week of Sport was celebrated with various organizations in Samsun, one of the seven pilot provinces under the coordination of the Turkish Sport for All Federation.

Sports Enthusiasm at Taflan Primary School

Organized at Taflan Primary School located in the Atakum district of Samsun, approximately three hundred children among the school's students participated and spent a day full of sports.

Inter-Institutional Alliance

The organization was realized under the leadership of the Turkish Sport for All Federation Samsun Provincial Representative Office, with the support of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, and various associations and platforms.

Traditional Street Games Played

Conducted under the management of Güngör Doğanay, President of the Turkish Capoeira Association, students on the field experienced traditional games such as sack racing, tug-of-war, jump roping, and big foot.

Gifts Given to Students

Following the completion of entertaining competitions and traditional game activities, various gifts were presented to all students and participants in the event area.

Statement from İsmail Uzun

İsmail Uzun, the Samsun Provincial Representative of the Turkish Sport for All Federation, stated that despite adverse weather conditions, they aimed to keep people moving without interrupting the activities.
