Competing in the TFF 3rd League 2nd Group, Gaziemir Spor experienced a severe stadium crisis due to the lack of a stadium meeting TFF criteria in the district and the grounds of Bornova Aziz Kocaoğlu Stadium, where they play their home matches, being taken into maintenance.

Statement Regarding Unable to Find a Stadium

In the official statement made by the club, it was stated that a suitable stadium could not be allocated for the next three home matches, emphasizing that they are facing the risk of a default defeat.

Applications Made to Various Stadiums

It was expressed that applications made for İzmir Atatürk Stadium, Manisa 19 Mayıs Stadium, Akhisar Stadium, Turgutlu New City Stadium, Aliağa Atatürk Stadium, Menemen District Stadium, and Yeni Buca Stadium yielded no results.

Reasons for Clubs Denying Permission

It was noted that Manisa FK, Menemen FK, and Bucaspor 1928 did not allow matches to be played in their stadiums, while other alternative pitches could not be used due to maintenance work.
