Referees File Investigation
Making statements regarding the agenda on a TRT Spor broadcast, Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı emphasized that the Referees File investigation must go all the way. Adalı stated that the process holds great importance for the future of Turkish football.
Proposal to Postpone Leagues
Stating that the judicial process is ongoing, Adalı requested that the leagues be postponed for two weeks after the international break if necessary, in order to completely clean up Turkish football. He expressed his desire that after a complete cleanup, these issues should never be discussed again.
Foreign MHK and Call for Resignation
Drawing attention to the fact that the Central Referee Board (MHK) has still not resigned, the Beşiktaş President stated that he views the possibility of a foreign MHK favorably. He noted that this practice could ensure more impartial decisions, away from external influences.
Betting and List Discussions
Touching upon the lists announced within the scope of the investigation and the betting allegations, Adalı argued that most of the people on the list are executives who have nothing to do with gambling in their daily lives. He voiced that the federation was practically doing the prosecutor's job.
