Sports journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu was detained within the scope of a drug investigation conducted in Istanbul. Necessary legal procedures were initiated upon the instructions of the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Forensic Medicine Institution Process
Having completed his procedures at the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Sabuncuoğlu was referred to the Forensic Medicine Institution for a drug test, and the procedures there were carried out.
Release and Investigation
Following the completion of the drug testing procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institution, Sabuncuoğlu was released. The investigation conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is ongoing.
